On the morning of July 8, 2023, Mr. TAING Sokngorn, Consul General of Cambodia in Nanning, visited Mr. Kheang Nakri, a Cambodian student, who is studying in Electrical Engineering at Guangxi University, and was injured in a traffic accident on July 6, 2023. Mr. Consul General brought him the Consulate General’s contribution of some money for sharing his medical expenses.

On 26-28 June 2023, Mr. TAING Sokngorn, Consul General of Cambodia in Nanning attended the "2023 Guangxi-Pingxiang China-Vietnam Border Tourism Festival" which was held in Pingxiang City, Guangxi. The Festival aimed to promote further exchanges and cooperation between Pingxiang, Vietnam, and ASEAN countries in the development of trade and logistics.

On 26 June 2023, Mr. TAING Sokngorn, Consul General of Cambodia in Nanning attended the "17th ASEAN-China Forum on Social Development and Poverty Reduction" which was held in Beihai with the theme of "Deepening Regional Cooperation for Poverty Reduction and Rural Development". The Forum aimed tofurther deepen exchanges and cooperation between China and ASEAN in social development and poverty reduction.

At the afternoon on June 8, 2023, Mr. TAING Sokngorn, Consul General of Cambodia in Nanning, received a meeting with Ms. PENG Jian, Director of the Nanning Foreign Affairs Office, and colleagues at the Consulate General. On the occasion, Ms. PENG and Mr. TAING Sokngorn raised their mutual support in promoting and strengthening cooperation between the Consulate General and the Nanning Foreign Affairs Office.

At the morning on 14 June 2023, at the Consulate General of the Kingdom of Cambodia in Nanning, Mr. TAING Sokngorn, Consul General, accompanied by Mr. LONG Vathana, Consul, received a working meeting with a delegation, led by Mr. Huang Zhen, Deputy Director of the Guangxi Administration for Market Regulation on the protection of intellectual property rights (IPR), and fighting against infringement and counterfeiting. On the occasion, Mr. Huang Zhen also expressed his thanks to the Consulate General of Cambodia for the strong support in strengthening the trade and investment cooperation between Cambodia and Guangxi.
